N and I were thrilled to discover that a special complementary DVC member event would occur when we were at Disney. After a wonderful day in the Magic Kingdom, we checked in and received special wristbands and a park map of the event. Then we headed back to the bungalow at the Polynesian to put the kids to bed. N’s parents stayed behind to watch the kids while N and I headed back to MK at 9 pm.

The park was really cool without the usual crowds. N and I headed to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin for a quick ride and then walked around the park to see as much as possible.

There were many special characters set up for photos around the park. Due to the lines and the super rare nature of these characters, we were only able to get photos with a few of them. There were also carriages from closed rides such as Mr. Toad’s wild ride as well as Herbie.

To end the fantastic night, there was a wonderful special fireworks show by the castle at midnight.

It was a really magical special night. If you get the opportunity to take part in one of these events I highly recommend it!
