This Monday, my History of the Book class met at the Dieu Donne. The Dieu Donne is a paper mill located in Manhattan, NY. We were met by an amazing woman named Kat. She gave us a tour of the gallery, and the paper mill itself. She also showed us how paper is made, by making a sheet so we could observe the process.
She also showed us some of the artwork made at the studio. At the Dieu Donne artists are challenged to create artwork made from paper.
Believe it or not, this is made entirely of paper. How cool is that?!
