Last week I went to Disney on Ice with my mother-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law. We had a blast! I have been before once, N took me two years ago to see the new Frozen on Ice. This was a different story it was Follow Your Heart so it had much more Disney scope than the Frozen one.

As with all Disney events there many Disney themed products for sale at the theatre as we waited for the show to start and again at intermission.

As for the show, once it started it was a magical journey through Disney’s movies. It started out with our classic pals Mickey and friends and a bit about Riley from Inside Out.

Then we enjoyed some of Disney’s best hits with snippets from several classic films including Beauty and the Beast and Snow White.

There was appearances from most of the Disney princesses including Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida. Each portraying a different trait, Belle intelligence, Snow White kindness, Cinderella hard work, Jasmine conviction, Ariel curiosity, Mulan courage, Tiana determination, Rapunzel adventure and Merida bravery.

The show also included snippets from more current shows like Finding Dory and Frozen.

The show was a delight for super Disney fan me and for my in-laws some of whom have not seen any of the recent Disney movies and did not know who Riley and the emotions were until I told them. Yet they still loved it. That’s the power of Disney it is filled with joy and fun.
